Our weekend

Sunday, June 5

Tom dropped me off at the Grocery store and then he took 'Big Red' to the car wash. When we got back home, I started getting the roast ready to marinade for 24 hours. (From Julia Child's, the Art of French Cooking).  Tom loaded up the roof rack on the SRX and then loaded the kayaks.  We went to Raccoon Creek State Park for about two hours.

Dinner was a salad with a strawberry balsamic dressing, some cantaloupe and asparagus.  Of course, there was cherry pie for dessert!

Saturday, June 4

Maggie and I went to the Semi-Annual All-Clad factory sale at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  It was Mags first time there and my second.  Tom was happy that Maggie went, otherwise I would have 'asked' him to join me.  Next we went to the Strip District and then the Sewickley Farmer's Market.  Whew, it was around 2:00 p.m. when we got back to our house.  Tom had trimmed the front hedges. After putting things away and getting cleaned up, we ordered a pizza, had a beer and watched a Netflix movie, "Iron Man 2".  We fell asleep half way through it and then realized that we had seen it before.

Friday, June 3

After work, we drove into town to have dinner at Mullaney's Harp & Fiddle Irish Restaurant/Pub.  The band that played at Maggie and Neil's party were performing (Corned Beef and Curry). They are awesome!  I had the iPad with us so we could follow the Pirates game.
